Welcome to Virgin Utah. It is nestled along the shores of the virgin river the water which gave life to this valley. Iit is a small community consisting mostly of farmers and retired folk. Settled in 1858 on a bend in the Virgin River, Virgin Town has a populaton of 250 and is located on SR-9 at the foot of Kolob Mountain Road. This road winds north through the west side of Zion's Park and provides access to creeks, hiking trails, gorgeous southern Utah scenery and the Kolob reservoir. Visitors are welcome to use the town park which is cool and shady in summer.
